Before you try JustHookup.com, try going out to the nearest cliff and shouting over the edge of it that you’d like to hook up tonight, no strings attached.
The response will be about the same as if you’d actually used the website to find a date.
JustHookup.com Review: Why JustHookup.com Isn’t in Our “Best” List
JustHookup.com is an empty goddamn website. We looked and looked and looked, and were shocked at just how FEW women were actually on the website. This was kind of a surprise, given the fact of how many women the site claimed were online and in our area, currently looking to hook up tonight with us.
That’s the first sign that a site is a scam.
When you log in, a completely different website appears, with totally different members…and not nearly as many of them. Most of the women’s profiles we looked at were fake, and not actually women at all. They were spambots, who responded to every message with the exact same wording in the exact same spelling, confirming our suspicions that JustHookup is a scam website out only to get your money.
The website was so BORING that we had a hard time staying on it for our target amount of time, which is several minutes every day at least to send emails and update our profiles.
Scream off a cliff. It’ll give you better results, and you’ll wind up paying less money for the privilege.
Results From JustHookup.com: Why JustHookup.com Is Not Legit
Let’s just think for a moment about our favorite site, SocialSex. It’s a place where a guy can go to hook up, getting three emails back for every four he sends, where girls are actually what they look like on their profiles and no one is trying to take their money.
Now back to JustHookup.com, unfortunately.
JustHookup rendered us a dismal 149 responses to the emails we sent out. The vast majority of the emails that we did get back turned out to be spam or scams.
Of the 149 emails we got back, so many were scams that for a while, we debated on whether or not we should respond to any of them at all. Fortunately, our scientific curiosity and our loyalty to you readers won out over our skepticism.
Also our desire to get laid kinda factored into the whole thing, to be totally honest.
We unfortunately only set up three whole dates in our entire time on JustHookup.com, which is shockingly low by anyone’s standards, but especially so by our standards, since we’re so used to getting a much better response rate than that. For a lot of guys, that might have been a decent rate, but for us it was pretty much just as bad as not setting up any dates at all.
It didn’t help that not one of those girls showed up for the date. Really, we might as well just find a cliff now.
Why It’s Not Worth Signing Up For: Is JustHookup.com a Scam?
What’s even better than spending a bit of money to NOT get laid?
If you answered “spending a LOT of money to not get laid,” congratulations! You are probably one of the creators behind JustHookup.com.
The site, laughably, pretends like they offer some kind of a guarantee for hookups. It says that “You will hook up, guaranteed!” It doesn’t take any longer than a second to look at the fine print and discover that this is guaranteed absolutely nowhere, and that this is definitely not truth in advertising. This is a scam, and it is not guaranteed. We tried bothering customer service about it, showing them how much work we had put into the site over a period of three months just to get laid exactly never.
Yeah, they never contacted us back. We didn’t even get a form letter in response.
Did we mention that being on JustHookup.com is like yelling off a cliff for all the response you get? Because it’s so goddamn accurate that we might need to mention it again.
JustHookup is not legit. It is also one of the more expensive sites we’ve tried out. We mentioned before that you can get a membership to a couple good dating sites for $30 or $40 a month. As we found out during our JustHookup comparison, you can also pay that much for just one site every month, without meeting any girls whatsoever!
Yeah, this site is pretty much useless.
JustHookup.com Review: Should You Try JustHookup.com For Hooking Up?
The worst part about JustHookup.com isn’t even the fact that it has no girls, or the fact that it’s a scam, or the fact that your time could better be spent running around the moors of England screaming for Kathy.
The worst part is that it doesn’t even WORK.
No, we don’t mean it doesn’t work to find you a date. That much is probably obvious by now, and we don’t need to go any further into it than we already have.
The other big problem with the site is that it is broken. Pages start to load and then stop loading, and the algorithm in particular is so broken that it doesn’t even deserve to be called an algorithm.
Take this example. On one of our first forays into this website, we loaded up all the girls that were supposedly just around in our area. We set the algorithm to within 20 miles (if we have to drive to get laid, whatever, so be it) and stood back to let the magic work.
Except the only magic was how it turned up girls three states over, claiming “In your area now! Ready for fun!”
We’re not quite sure how that happened, or why it KEEPS happening every time we do a search on JustHookup.com. What we are sure about is that this is just one more of the endless supply of reasons you should stay away from this stupid glitchy broken empty website.
