No, this isn’t a review of AdultFriendFinder. That’s actually a legitimate website with 40 million members. Another big difference is that THAT website got us laid several times, whereas AdultFinder.com is just a big mess of a scam.
First of all, what’s up with the name? As far as we’re concerned, it just sounds like you’re looking for an adult, any adult. That doesn’t sound sexy, that sounds like you’re a child having a problem.
If you really need to find an adult, the incredibly small userbase on AdultFinder.com is probably not going to help you.
Here’s a pro tip: when a website advertises “hundreds of members,” that’s kind of pathetic.
Most good websites, especially websites that have been around for as long as AdultFinder.com claims to have been, have memberships of well over a million. For a website to openly admit that they’re so drastically below that is a little bit sad.
AdultFinder.com Review: Why AdultFinder.com Isn’t in Our “Best” List
Good luck on AdultFinder.com. Good luck trying to use it. Good luck not getting fed up with it and walking out immediately, because we were tempted to do that every time we tried to do anything.
The site is really buggy.
We don’t mean it has a long load time, although it does. We don’t even mean that the sorting algorithm is bad, although it’s appallingly bad and you have no chance of getting a date on this website.
We mean that if you try to click a button, it MIGHT take you to the page you want to see. More likely it will not. The links are not lined up well under the text, and a lot of the buttons are misplaced.
That’s not even mentioning the fact that the dropdown menus are obnoxious and difficult to control. Every time we tried to do just about anything on this website, we’d get error pages after error pages, telling us that “Whoops! You’ve done something wrong! Go back and try again!”
No, we didn’t do anything wrong besides coming on your terrible, buggy website. Coming onto this site was a mistake, and if we prevent someone from going on it, we’ll be thrilled.
Even if you could get past the absolute awfulness of the site design, you won’t be able to, because there’s pretty much nothing else. If you try to use email, the message may or may not send. If you want to send a flirt or a wink, chances are it’ll go to the wrong girl.
Fortunately, if you DO send a message to the wrong girl, no harm will come of it, because no one is on AdultFinder.com anyway. Aren’t you glad?
Results From AdultFinder.com: Why AdultFinder.com Is Not Legit
You’d think that because the site of AdultFinder.com is so difficult to use, it would at least be easy to sign up. Clearly, you haven’t been paying attention, because NOTHING about AdultFinder.com is easy, and no part of writing our AdultFinder review is easy.
Profile creation took us several hours. Yes, several HOURS. That’s despite the fact that we’re totally seasoned pros at creating profiles—check out our guide to creating an awesome online profile for hookup dating sites right here.
Once we got past the profile creation stage, we tried sending out emails to girls. That wasn’t easy, either. When we COULD get the site to work (which was not all of the time), we had a hell of a time trying to find girls that we could actually message. We’ll be honest, we lowered our standards to the damn ground for this site, and we STILL had trouble finding girls to send messages to.
We wound up messaging girls who were out of our age range (gross), not as attractive as we wanted, or had some pretty obvious flaws. Even with all of that, we still had a lot of trouble finding someone to email within a couple hundred miles.
We sucked it up, and because we take our AdultFinder comparison SERIOUSLY, we found enough girls to contact
We might as well have not bothered.
Of the 900 emails we sent out individually over the course of three months, we got two responses.
We’re pretty sure they were both pretending to be women to try and get some money out of us, too, but the worst part is that there were only TWO of them. Usually more guys try to trick us than that! We’re starting to feel unwanted.
Why It’s Not Worth Signing Up For: Is AdultFinder.com a Scam?
You know, it’s actually pretty cheap to get ignored. You can do it for free at almost any bar. AdultFinder.com isn’t like going to a bar and getting ignored, however. It’s like going to a bar wearing an invisible, sound-proof cloak that prevents anyone from knowing you’re there.
No, that analogy doesn’t work, because there are people in a bar.
AdultFinder.com is like going to an EMPTY bar. Even if you wear your fanciest clothes and bring your A-game, you’re still going to be the weirdo hitting on an empty bar stool.
We’ve had better luck with dating on literally any other site we’ve ever tried. AdultFinder.com is our lowest-rated site for a reason, and we can’t recommend strongly enough that you do not try this website. It is a waste of your time, money, and brainpower.
